Our Mission

AI@UGA works with students at the University of Georgia by providing opportunities to work on industry projects and publications. Our organization aims to connect students with meaningful experiences and internship opportunities in the world of Artificial Intelligence.

Noteworthy Projects

Smart Environmental Sensors for Public Health

In collaboration with the City of Athens and UGA faculty, we are developing advanced sensors to detect water contaminants, backed by funding, lab space, and a forthcoming publication.

AI-Powered Urban Forest Mapping

Partnering with the City of Atlanta, we are building geospatial image classification models to map, analyze, and better manage urban forests at scale.

AI-Assisted CAD Modeling for Construction

Working with HammerHead Construction, we are creating an intelligent platform that transforms hand-drawn architectural plans into precise, editable 3D CAD models.
